MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER

Hey, I am Lauren

After spending over 11 years in the industry, one thing I see time and time again is couples underestimating just how important it is to pick the right photographer for them as a couple.

For me, my ultimate goal is to protect your space on your special day. What this looks like is different for each couple I have worked with. Some love to be creative and send me weekly Pinterest boards, while other couples prefer a much more hands-off and private approach to their day, making sure they spend time on their own to soak up every moment. This is why it is so important for me to get to know my couples — to understand what it is you want for your day and, ultimately, how you want that to be captured.

My style of photography is romantic and timeless. I pride myself on creating moments with couples, not poses, as there is nothing more beautiful than capturing a couple's authentic love — and this is where my passion lies.

So, a little about me: first and foremost, I am a mum to two amazing girls (please pray for me, as the hormone years are creeping in and I don’t feel prepared — any advice is welcome, and wine will also be appreciated!). I am also going to be a 2025 bride, as I have my own wedding to plan for October. So when I say I get it, I really get it.

After having the privilege of capturing countless weddings over the past decade, I can honestly say it’s only this year that I fully understand the stresses of wedding planning. I fear bridezilla status may be just on the horizon for me!

Apparently…

The marketing experts suggest that it’s good to let potential clients know a few fun/weird facts about you, as it may make you more approachable so here we go…

I am the owner of 6 parrots (yes, some are learning to talk; it’s cute but also a bit creepy)

I really have an issue with meat pies; I just firmly believe pies should be for dessert

My biggest fear is Wallace and Gromit (no, I’m not making it up to try and sound different, I have no idea why I have this phobia and also acknowledge it’s super weird - don’t judge me, I want this to be a safe space)

I once got escorted off Manchester Airport runway as I went through the wrong door and decided to try and flag down the plane I thought I was late for. I think I had a brief episode of mistaken situational awareness and thought I was trying to flag down a taxi. (No I wasn’t drunk; I was just late and flustered.)

I am not sure my facts really help sell me as a professional but shows life is never dull, that’s for sure. I think the best thing for you to do if you have reached this far is make sure you check out my work, stalk me, read my packages, and if you think we would be a good fit, let’s have a chat, awkward Zoom calls where we keep looking at ourselves and can’t believe we have showed up on camera like “this” or the old-fashioned way and grab a coffee.
